What we keep, for how long, and how to wipe it.

For each filed case we store: the case text you wrote (your complaint and, where applicable, the optional defense), the optional alias you chose to file under, the tier and court you picked, the AI’s verdict in full, the harmless sentencethe judge landed the case with, and the createdAt timestamp.

If you paid for a tier, the receipt email you entered at Stripe Checkout is captured with the charge so we can issue a receipt. We never see your card details — those stay on Stripe’s side.

No third-party ad networks. No tracking pixels off the app. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no cross-site retargeting.

Two narrow exceptions are worth naming transparently. Stripe Checkout briefly redirects you to checkout.stripe.com to take payment — that is a payment-processor redirect, not advertising. And PolsiaAnalytics, the platform’s first-party analytics, runs on every page to measure traffic and errors. It is owned by the platform, not by an outside network, and it does not profile you across other sites.

When the Evidence Hearing upload pipeline ships, files you attach to a case will be stored in Polsia’s managed object storage (Cloudflare R2), encrypted at rest, alongside the case row. Each attachment will keep its filename, mime type, byte size, and a storage URL the public verdict page can render.

Evidence follows the same 90-day window as the case text: once the underlying case is purged, so are its attachments. The case text written today is already stored in Polsia-managed Postgres, which is encrypted at rest by the platform.

If you opt in to the friend-vote widget when it ships, named voters will be stored against the case as a small record — display name, the vote they cast, and a timestamp. That record sits on the same case row and is purged with it on the 90-day window.

Opting in is yours to make; nothing is collected for the widget until you choose to use it.

The per-tier refund rules live on /terms — privacy-side, the relevant facts are short. Payment metadata we keep with the case (Stripe charge outcome, tier, price paid) follows the case row’s 90-day window and is purged with it. Stripe’s own retention of your payment data is governed by Stripe, not by us.

The public verdict page at /v/[id] stays online after the source case text is purged — it is the joke you came here to share. You can still ask us to take a verdict page down; see below.

Email bantamcourt@polsia.app from the address you filed under (or describe the case well enough to identify it) and we will remove the case row within seven days. We can take a public verdict page down on the same request — it just stops loading for everyone.
